2016 Red Hills Cellars Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Our 2016 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is our very first vintage with only 60 cases produced. When we were in the planning stages of this new adventure, we wanted to keep it close to our heart as we do our family.
This vintage is dedicated to our Niece, Grace, aka Virtual Chicken Slayer, Farm Master & Master of Single Liners! Her tenacious view on life inspires all who know her. You never expect what comes from her but when it shows up, it is just simply amazing!
Brilliant, deep ruby color. The aromatics are very intense offering scents of red cherry and five spice with supporting notes of red currant, raspberry, mocha, and hibiscus flower. The palate confirms the nose delivering a red fruit-driven core with flavors of boysenberry, plum, and leather with hints of pomegranate. The finish is long and lingering with ripe tannins. Medium to full-bodied and nicely balanced with a supple texture.
